How to improve academic writing in Computer Science?
I need help with academic writing for my Computer Science papers and assignments. Despite having good ideas, I struggle to express them clearly and persuasively in writing. My professors often comment that my arguments lack clarity or that my writing style needs improvement. I understand the content and can discuss topics verbally, but translating that knowledge into well-structured written work is challenging. I'm particularly struggling with organizing my thoughts, using appropriate academic language, and citing sources correctly. What resources and techniques have helped you improve your academic writing in Computer Science? Are there specific books, online courses, or writing centers that you'd recommend? How do you approach structuring papers and developing strong arguments? I'm currently studying at University of Ibadan and would appreciate any advice from fellow students or graduates who have been in similar situations.
