Edulinks Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Edulinks, a division of Veraclins Dev Hub. By using Edulinks' services, whether through our website or mobile application, you agree to follow and be bound by our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using our platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 12 years old to use Edulinks. If you're under 18, you need parental or guardian permission. We may request verification, like an email or message from your guardian, before activating your account. We follow Nigeria's Child Rights Act and other applicable laws to protect young users
3. User Accounts
To ask questions, provide answers, or participate in discussions, you'll need to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and not sharing your login information with others. If you suspect someone else is using your account, please notify us straight away.
4. User Conduct & Community Guidelines
Edulinks is a learning community. We expect respectful, honest, and helpful interactions.
You must not:

❖Harass, threaten, or insult others.
❖Advertise products excessively or spam the platform.
❖Attempt to defraud the system (for example, by submitting fake votes).
❖Mock other people's cultures, beliefs, or traditions.
❖Spread rumors or unverified information that might trigger panic.
You should:
❖Share accurate, respectful, and supportive information.
❖Report content that violates our policies.

5. User-Generated Content & Intellectual Property
You own the content (questions, answers, comments, etc.) you post on Edulinks. By posting, you give us permission to use, edit, and share your content to improve or promote Edulinks—even if you delete your account. We won't use your content for unrelated purposes and will respect your rights under Nigeria's copyright laws. If you close your account, your public posts may still be visible but can be anonymized upon request.
6. Moderation & Content Removal
Edulinks maintains the right to monitor, edit, or remove any content that violates our policies, applicable laws, or community standards. Users can report inappropriate content; we will evaluate it and take necessary action as needed. We may delete or remove information that violates our policies or the law. If your article is deleted, we will notify you—usually within 24 hours. You can file an appeal by responding to the notification or contacting support@edulinks.com within 7 days. Serious cases are assessed by actual individuals, not automated systems. To report inappropriate content, please contact report@edulinksnigeria.com.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
We value your privacy, and our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Edulinks, you agree to our data-handling methods. We collect information like your name and activity to improve Edulinks. You control what we use—see our Privacy Policy at www.edulinks.com/privacy.
If there's a data breach, we'll notify you as required by Nigerian law.
8. No Professional Advice
Edulinks answers are intended solely for learning purposes. Users' answers should not be interpreted as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Beware of scams—don't share personal or financial information, and report users who offer fake help or ask for money. Always consult a knowledgeable expert before making decisions based on information found on Edulinks.
9. Third-Party Links & Services
Edulinks may link to other sites. We don't control their content, policies, or practices, and you use them at your own risk. Be careful—some links may lead to unsafe pages, especially if you're on public Wi-Fi or shared devices.
Don't enter personal info unless you trust the site.
10. Account Termination
We have the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. We may suspend your account for rule violations—but we'll try to give you a warning first, unless it's urgent (like illegal activity).
You may also request account deactivation at any time
To delete your account:

We'll process it within 14 days. Some posts may stay public, but your name will be removed if you request.
11. Limitation of Liability
We work hard to keep Edulinks safe and reliable. But we're not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages outside our control—like internet outages, lost data, or security breaches caused by the use of our platform.
12. Changes to Terms
We may periodically update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or app notifications at least 7 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the new terms take effect.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are regulated by Nigerian laws. Any disputes originating from these Terms will be addressed in the Nigerian courts. Before going to court, please email us to address the matter informally; we believe in open dialogue.
